How to cancel Spotify Premium in Canada

Cancelling Spotify Premium takes two clicks on the website. Your account isn't deleted; it moves to the free plan.

Billed by someone else?

If there's no cancel option, a partner such as your mobile or internet provider bills you. The Payment section of the Manage your plan page links to them. If you subscribed in an iPhone or iPad app, Apple bills you: open Settings, tap your name, tap Subscriptions, then cancel there.

What happens after you cancel

• Premium stays active until your next billing date, then your account moves to the free plan with ads.
• If you cancel during a free trial, you move to the free plan right away and can't restart that trial.

Tips

• Family or Duo plan managers: cancelling ends Premium for everyone on the plan, so tell them first.
• Family or Duo members: following these steps only removes you from the plan. Ask the plan manager to cancel.
